Burial Options
Mount Sinai is a full purpose cemetery allowing for burial choices of either single depth graves, to family plots, and of course the Temple mausoleum for families seeking above ground entombment.
Traditional Side-By-Side
For those who are traditional at heart, we offer spaces that are side by side. Traditional spaces are adjacent to each other and can be purchased in any number.
Family Estates
Often times, families choose to purchase a large number of adjoining spaces for themselves and future generations. Since property in Mount Sinai is limited, many families want to assure that their loves ones can be buried for generations to come.
In-Ground
Mount Sinai Cemetery offers to families the option to entomb a casket into the ground without a vault. As required by the state of New Jersey, a vault is a concrete liner that protects the casket. Jewish tradition is usually a pine casket going directly into the ground with just the soil that will cover it.
Mount Sinai Cemetery offers many different sections, with a variety of burial options. Please feel free to contact a family counselor for more information or click here.
Mausoleum
A mausoleum crypt is a clean, dry, ventilated, completely sheltered private above-ground burial. Through the ages, above ground mausoleum has always been considered the highest form of honor. Our mausoleum temple is built with such custom design that generations to come will appreciate and understand the beauty and elegance of an above ground entombment at Mount Sinai Cemetery.
